After a banking career, I started a small Porsche repair shop...with the legendary Roger Chaney as my mentor. After a few years of autocrossing and modifying street Porsches for friends, I built my first race car...a DP 911 for SCCA and entered my first race in 1977. Through the years, with the help of dedicated crew members (some of whom still crew with me today), our team has raced in SCCA, SCCA PRO, IMSA, Firestone Firehawk series, PCA, and since 2000, the Grand American Cup and Rolex series.
