Since building our first Porsche 911 SCCA DP race car in 1976, through SCCA Pro, IMSA, and Grand American race series, we have constantly been involved in motorsports...primarily with Porsches! The same race winning attention to detail is carried over to the repair and maintenance for your street car. From a simple oil change to a complex engine or transmission rebuild, we have the experience.

While our staff is small, our knowledge and experience is large. B.J.Jones and I have a combined skill level of over 50 plus years working with Porsches and other German cars. From 944 water pumps to a 996 clutch...wheel bearings on a 356 to a wiring harness on a 928...we have the knowhow and the ability. We pride ourselves in getting the job done...at a fair price. While we do have parts on hand, we can get up to five shipments per day for most parts needed, or overnighted in many cases. We generally use OEM parts, but sometimes can give a customer an alternative, OEM quality part for a cost savings to them. We never charge over dealer list price, and generally are substantially less than dealer pricing for the same part.

What started out as a hobby; autocrossing, time trials, etc., in 1972, quickly became a full time profession. Since 1977, ISTOOK'S has been involved and racing the Porsche marque after building three different 911 DP racers, followed by an SSA 924, Porsche factory 924 DP, 924 Carrera GTR, and is currently building an SCCA/PCA GT2 911 targa. Other cars raced and maintained have been Formula cars, Toyota Supra Turbo, Firebirds, and Audi S4 in the Grand Am Cup.

With our rotating spit, we have fabricated assemblies to hold various Porsches where we can spin them 360 degrees for proper repair, welding, or modifications. We can fabricate complete roll cages, complex competition exhausts, or simple battery box rust repair. With the tools at hand...TIG and MIG welders, Plasma cutters, Pexto brakes and shears, band saws, metal cut-off saws, etc., we can do the job. Stainless steel custom exhausts using 304 SS and custom mandrel bent tubing finds its way onto many a race and street car.
